At the end of July, I posted some of my whimsical mixed media art on etsy, in order to raise money for suicide prevention and awareness. Priced at just $5 each, $1 of each sale will go towards suicide prevention. For every 10 items sold, I will donate $10 to organizations that are doing good work to support this important cause.
In August we made our first donation to To Write Love On Her Arms. TWLOHA is a nonprofit dedicated to presenting hope and finding help for people struggling with depression, addiction, self-injury, and suicide. "TWLOHA exists to encourage, inform, inspire, and invest directly into treatment and recovery."
