Healing After Suicide Loss Conference

Saturday, June 12, 2021

I am excited that I have been asked by the American Association of Suicidology to present a workshop during their 2021 Healing After Loss Conference. Join me on Saturday June 12, 2021, for a conversation about the process of moving past guilt, blame, and anger, in order to begin to heal from the complicated grief associated with suicide loss.

The American Association of Suicidology (AAS) is one of the premier non-profit suicide prevention and awareness groups. AAS programs reflect a commitment to the following:

  • Advancing Suicidology as a science; encouraging, developing and disseminating scholarly work in suicidology.
  • Encouraging the development and application of strategies that reduce the incidence and prevalence of suicidal behaviors.
  • Compiling, developing, evaluating, and disseminating accurate information about suicidal behaviors to the public.
  • Fostering the highest possible quality of suicide prevention, intervention and postvention to the public.
  • Publicize official AAS positions on issues of public policy relating to suicide.
  • Promote research and training in suicidology.

AAS has received the Guidestar Platinum Seal of Transpancy.

I am honored and excited to be a part of their 33rd annual Healing After Loss Conference.
